Publication in trade magazine

In its latest issue, the trade magazine Electric & Hybrid Vehicle Technology International reports on how the FCW system scores points for battery contacting in a pilot series system of a major car manufacturer. The entire system was produced by Bergmann & Steffen.

Manufacturing an EV battery is much more complex than building a gas tank for an ICE vehicle. For example, individual cells in a battery pack must have flawless contacts. In response to a request from a major automotive manufacturer, Bergmann & Steffen GmbH has now developed an innovative system that includes, among other components, the extremely compact FCW (“Fast Component Welding”) scanner from Scansonic.
